2022 was another year of our students, families, schools and community working together to serve students, families and our community.
We brought smiles to so many faces on the first day of school, recycled thousands of pounds of plastic caps and lids into sustainable benches and tables, made birthday celebrations more special, made the holidays brighter for countless students and families, and fulfilled grants that made an immediate impact in the lives of Forest Hills school families. |
We're welcoming 2023 with a new initiative to support one of our community partners, Jack's Closet. During the month of March, we will be fulfilling items on their "baby registry" to help them better serve the children in kinship and foster care circumstances.
Collection containers can be found at Nagel Middle School (1500 Nagel Road; box can be found just inside the door) and Bigby Coffee (7754 Beechmont Avenue) beginning March 1st. Please note all items must be in new condition.
We've seen what our community can do when they are offered an opportunity to be a resource for the needs of others and we know this initiative will be no different.
Our Mission
We seek to provide the students and families of Forest Hills School District with authentic service opportunities that impact the lives of their fellow students, families, neighbors, and community.
Over the last 5 years, our community came together to keep 20,000 pounds of plastic out of landfills, while providing more than 50 tables and benches that will be used for years on our school campuses, in our parks, around Anderson Township and the Village of Newtown, and beyond!
