Spring Break Service Opportunity!
Help us prepare plastic caps and lids for an upcoming order of tables and benches for our schools and community! To date, nearly 15,000lbs of plastic have been recycled into 40 tables and benches that can be found on every Forest Hill school campus, in multiple Anderson Township Parks and in a variety of spots throughout the Anderson and Newtown communities.
During a Remote Sort, you pick up caps during the designated time and sort at home at your convenience. We'll provide the caps/lids, bags, and all the details you need to be a part of this project at home.
Click here to pick up caps on April 13th between 11AM and 12:30PM. Pick up is at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church (1428 Eight Mile Road).

Bottlecaps to Benches Caps and Lids Needed

Visit the Bottlecaps to Benches project page for caps and lids we can accept and how to sort at home or drop them off unsorted and we'll have volunteers get them ready during an upcoming Sort Day.
Caps can be dropped off in the bins behind the PODS unit at Cherry Grove United Methodist on Eight Mile Road or Juilfs Park (storage garage near the old park office building). School collection containers can also be found in all nine Forest Hills school buildings. It's a huge help if they are dropped off in bags or boxes. We're grateful for your support!
